Big Business - Student Budget

I suppose the typical UK Student hasn't got it all that bad. After all, unlike our friends across the pond (Americans) we get government grants and loans to help us survive this terrible times waking up late in lectures still hungover from the night club you went to the night before.

This, I tell you, is by far the best time in your life to start a business. I can testify fully as somebody who, five months ago, was struggling for cash myself - Already in my overdraft before the START of freshers week where (As a student) I was expected to spend so much time in night clubs drinking champagne and Vodka/Redbull.

I needed money. Fast. It was at this time I had an epiphany: I need to combine my talents. These were web design, photography, social skills - and newly acquired to me... Student Time. It is through these talents that I created a night club photography web site in my city, Manchester. Now a marketing guy and city centre apartment later, I'm expendanding the website to include some other perfectly relevant hobby of mine, hoping to draw in more revenue.

Students have lots of time on their hand. This is the biggest advantage a student can possess in comparison to their full-time job counterpart who wants to start their own business.

We have no risks to consider - We are poor in the first place, there isn't a failed business that is going to make us worse off than we already are.

Whats more we have a student loan handed to us that wants investing (While you soon have it).

I'm sorry my American friends, I don't believe you have this pleasure.

What I am trying to say is that being a student doesn't necessarily mean that you should do nothing for the next few years - Its possible to go to night clubs AND make a medium risk investment.

I am currently the managing Director of a fastly growing business, that has also gave me benefits of well established contacts such as Marketing Agencies, and Business owners - Including a lot of night club owners who allow me free access to most of the clubs in Manchester... And believe me, being able to get you and your friends into a night club for free and past both the normal and guest list queue - you are God.
